We’ve got an awesome t-shirt swag item at WordCamp Vancouver this year, but in order to guarantee that you get your desired size you’ll need to purchase your ticket by Friday, August 12th at 9:00am.

If you purchase your ticket after this date/time, you’ll still be able to pick up a t-shirt at the registration table, but will have to pick a shirt from a limited selection of sizes the morning of the event (on a first come, first serve basis).

Tickets for WordCamp are only $25 and include access to the day’s talks and the after party in the evening, a delicious lunch, and other great swag items (stickers anyone…?).

Call for Speakers

Want to share your WordPress know-how or experiences with the community at WordCamp Vancouver this year? We’d love to hear from you!

This year, WordCamp Vancouver will have multiple tracks—a developer track, a business track, and a beginner track—and we need speakers to help us fill all three with top-notch programming for our attendees.

Speaker submissions are open until Friday, July 15 (5pm PST).

You can submit your talk idea on the Speak at WordCamp Vancouver page.

Those speakers selected for this year’s event will be notified within two weeks of the submission deadline, so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare. All speakers will also be honoured at a special speaker’s dinner the Friday evening before the big event.

Looking forward to seeing all of the great submissions come in, and thanks for your contributions in helping make this year’s event another success!

WordCamp Vancouver 2016

Welcome to the new site for WordCamp Vancouver 2016, a conference that focuses on everything WordPress! This year’s conference will have both developer and business tracks, as well as a track for newcomers to WordPress.

It will take place at BCIT downtown on Saturday, August 27th, 2016.

Sponsors: In order to be able to fund WordCamp Vancouver, we need the community’s help. If you’re a WordPress-based business, use WordPress, or just love WordPress, please consider sponsoring WordCamp.

Speakers: What good would WordCamp be without great presentations? If you’re interested in speaking, please apply on our speaker page.

Volunteers: We need day-of volunteers to help out with all sorts of things; the event just wouldn’t be possible without some friendly faces to give us a little help. Take a look at our volunteering page.

Stay tuned, everyone! More info will be coming soon. If you’d like to get updates as we make them available, please subscribe below.
